Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers or other assistive technology.

What we aim for

This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. In practice that means:

• Text and buttons have enough color contrast to read easily.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
• Images have text alternatives, or are marked as decorative.
• Pages use real headings, lists, links and buttons, so screen readers can navigate them.
• The site works when zoomed to 200% and on small phone screens, and respects your device's reduced-motion setting.
• There are no pop-ups, auto-playing videos, time limits or CAPTCHAs.

How we check

We test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand with a keyboard before changes go live, and review the site again whenever we add something new.

Tell us about a problem

If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we'll work to fix it and get you what you need in the meantime. We aim to reply within a few business days.

Shopping elsewhere

Our online shop runs on Etsy, which has its own accessibility policies. If you have trouble ordering there, email us and we'll help you place the order directly.
